Founded on a Simple Belief

Outdoor spaces should feel like a natural extension of the home, not an afterthought. When we started in 2014, we noticed that most patio installations relied heavily on concrete, artificial turf, and mass-produced furniture. These spaces looked sterile and disconnected from the surrounding landscape.

We set out to change that by combining horticultural expertise with a deep respect for natural materials. Every stone we lay, every timber beam we install, and every plant we select is chosen with intention and care.

Over the years, we have completed more than 280 residential projects across Gauteng and the surrounding provinces. Each one taught us something new about working with nature rather than imposing upon it.

Our Guiding Principles

These values inform every decision we make, from material sourcing to client communication.

Authenticity Over Convenience

Genuine materials require more effort to source and install, but they reward that effort with character, durability, and a connection to place that synthetic alternatives simply cannot replicate.

Regional Sensitivity

The highveld climate presents unique challenges and opportunities. We work with indigenous and adapted species that thrive in local conditions, reducing water consumption and maintenance requirements.

Transparent Process

You will always know what materials we are using, where they come from, and why we have selected them. No hidden costs, no unexplained changes, no surprises when the invoice arrives.

Long-Term Thinking

A patio built with quality materials and proper technique should last decades. We design with maintenance in mind, ensuring that your outdoor space remains beautiful with minimal ongoing effort.

The People Behind the Plants

Our team includes horticulturists, stonemasons, and carpenters who share a common appreciation for craftsmanship. Many of our crew members have been with us for over five years, bringing consistency and institutional knowledge to every project.

We invest in ongoing training, regularly attending workshops on sustainable landscaping practices, new plant varieties, and installation techniques. This commitment to learning ensures that we stay current while respecting time-tested methods.

  • Certified horticulturists on every project
  • Trained stonemasons for natural rock installation
  • Timber specialists for decking and pergolas
  • Dedicated project coordinators for clear communication

Our Approach to Sustainability

Sustainability is not a marketing term for us; it is a practical necessity. Water scarcity, rising temperatures, and soil degradation are realities that every gardener in our region must contend with.

We prioritise water-wise planting schemes, permeable surfaces that allow rainwater to replenish groundwater, and composting programmes that turn green waste into nutrient-rich soil amendments.

Where possible, we source reclaimed materials: railway sleepers, cobblestones from demolished buildings, and weathered timber that has already proven its durability over decades of use.
